Seahawks Punch Play-off Spot with Nail-biting Overtime Victory over Los Angeles Rams.

The Seattle Seahawks engineered a stunning comeback to overcome the Rams in extra time, clinching their place in the NFL play-offs.

Overcoming a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight victory.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a post-season berth earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seahawks have taken over their Conference standings with a 12-3 record, replacing the Rams, who dropped to the number five seed with an 11-4 record.

Quarterback Sam Darnold threw two picks but regrouped to deliver two scoring throws, including the second score to wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The visitors held a six-point lead at half-time before Kenneth Walker III broke free for a 55-yard touchdown run for the home side.

Los Angeles defensive back Wallace then took back Darnold's first pick for a big return, setting up a short touchdown by Corum on the ensuing snap.

In the final stanza, a touchdown from Stafford to Puka Nacua pushed the advantage to 30-14, but Rashid Shaheed ignited the comeback with a spectacular punt return.

Darnold then connected with AJ Barner in the endzone, and a successful two-point play forced the contest into overtime.

Although Nacua raced in for his another TD in OT, Jaxon Smith-Njigba answered in kind to setup the decisive conversion.
